Melissa Nelson
Dr. Nelson has been a pioneer in the field of Holistic Medicine. She has 44 years of clinical experience as a holistic chiropractor, clinical nutritionist, community leader, and ordained minister.
She adds a layer of discovery that is often left out, by including individual dietary histories, lifestyle habits, and choices, exercise and movement habits, as well as social and emotional factors to more fully assess her patients.
Melissa Nelson attended Colorado State University where she studied Occupational Therapy, and went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1979, from Logan College of Chiropractic, St. Louis, MO. She is certified in Clinical Nutrition from the American Council of Applied Clinical Nutrition as well as licensed in clinical nutrition through the state of Wisconsin. Additionally she has traveled the world studying indigenous, holistic, and alternative healing practices.
She is currently maintaining a virtual practice in Door County. She will customize a nutritional protocol based on comprehensive patient intake forms, previous blood tests and exams. She assesses the status of metabolic systems and designs a precise nutritional program that can rebuild the compromised systems in the body.
Antonia Nelson
Antonia Nelson works with groups, businesses and clients, to create a wellness program to address trauma, stress, and challenges. Any of these might be blocking the ability to reset the natural balance of the nervous system and establish a better understanding and relationship with ourselves.
She is a 1980 Graduate of the Boulder School of Massage Therapy, Colorado, and has extensive experience in Massage Therapy, Myofascial Release and Craniosacral therapy, Postural Integration, Restorative Life Coaching, and Recovery Coaching.
In addition to her own business, Antonia has worked in a Chiropractic Office, Physical Therapy Office, at a Myofascial Release Treatment Center and at a Center for Veteran’s Issues. She now has a private practice with virtual appointments and in person appointments in Sturgeon Bay, WI.
